“Yes, the EZ Box Opener is bigger than a standard box cutter or utility knife. The EZBO is not a knife, it is an opener. The handle is larger and ergonomically designed to reduce hand fatigue and carpal tunnel symptoms resulting from repetitive use. It was engineered to be that size for more safe and efficient opening and deconstruction of boxes of all sizes that are glued, taped, and stapled.”

Does the EZ Box Opener have to be carried in a holster?

“No, the EZ Box Opener doesn’t have a sharp, dangerous blade, so it doesn’t need to be kept in a holster or attached to a chain/lanyard for safety purposes like a safety knife would require. It can be safely transported in a pocket or apron, hung from a hand truck or cart, or simply placed on a cart when restocking the retail space.”

Is the EZ Box Opener easy to use?

“Yes! It’s super easy! Users can easily adapt to using the EZ Box Opener and will quickly find it to be very versatile. Also, it is more efficient at opening boxes since you don’t have to use the same slow and methodical approach as you would need when using a sharp-bladed knife.”

How much do they cost?

Great question! Depending on quantity $2 to $3 each.Due to our efficiencies in manufacturing and large production runs, we have been able to keep our prices relatively stable for the past few years. We offer the EZ Box Openers in any quantity, but we have standard packs of 3, 5, 10, 25, 100, and 250 units.
